2 years since my last post.. Hai again

Assalamuallaikum... Wow! It's been years since my last post! Sorry guys really busy until I don't really have the time to indulge with blogging. Really, I love blogging! But I just can't find the ME time to do it..

Well, just a brief history for last two years.......

First of all (based on my last post), I did took ABRSM Piano Grade 2. Thankfully, I pass the exam!! Yahoo!!

Secondly, I gave birth to a baby girl named Chaerin.. So now I have Adela (the princess), Badri (the full moon child) and Chaerin (my rainbow unicorn). So those are my ABC's children (since me and my husband plan it all according to sequence of alphabet!). I think 3 is a good number already. Alhamdulillah..

Third, my princess Adela is in primary 1. The scariest thing is, I'm her Math teacher at school! Most people won't do it. Quit challenging you know, to be your daughter's teacher. I tend to drove her harder than her friends in the class (sometimes I wonder if I overdid it).

So, that's my latest development so far. Now am on my way to Sabah from Kuching, via Brunei with my family. Now it's 7.10 am so probably will arrive at KK by 2pm or 3pm. 7 hours journey. I'll update later!

3rd Grade Piano Theory Exam!? 2nd Grade Piano ?!

Ollaaa my friends! I'm back again after 7 months of silents! It's the end of November and it's school holiday right now. So I'm on break (since I'm a teacher.. of course!). It's been a week since our school holiday had started, so here I am in my house with my two little angels.

My last post was about me joining the KKMS Concert. So back to my piano lesson. At last after lots of thinking, I'd decided to take the Piano Theory Exam for 3rd Grade. Imagine me, 30 years old mathematics teacher, wants to take Piano Theory Exam? 

Well, the good news is that I PASS the exam with 89 marks (if only I get 90 marks, it'll be DISTINCTION.. grrrrrr). I took the exam at SJK (C) Chung Hua No.4 at Jalan Nenas, Kuching. It's just the opposite with KKMS. It's kinda funny coz I'm sitting with few elementary kids and most of them finish it before I did. The exam was kinda hard, but I'm glad that I took it. At least, I know now how the exam looks like hehe... 

Now, I'm preparing my for Piano Exam for Grade 2. You might wonder why did I took the 3rd Grade for Theory, right? Since I'm an adult now, I can learn a lot faster in theory compared to children, but when it comes to playing the piano.. I'm SLOWWWW... so Grade 2 it is.. And I tell you, it's HARD! I have to play 3 songs, the exam is in June till August. But now December is around the corner and I'm still stuck with one song!

Ms. Kho (my piano teacher) suggest me to play IMPERTINENCE by Handel. Overall I can finally play all the notes but with lots of mistakes here and there.

It's been a long time.. KKMS Concert!

Wahhh.. dah bersawang dah blog kmk tok.. Lamak sik ngabas eh... (tu cakap Sarawak yer..) Hi all, it's been a long time since my last post. Sorry, dunno why but my interest for blogging seems to go down the hill since back then.. Having 2 kids, I kinda juggling a bit. It's a bless, YES... but also hectic ever since! But I'm embracing it all with my two hands! Thank God my husband is very helpful.. TQ hunny!

 Kawai Kuching Music School Concert at MBKS

For those who doesn't know, I've been taking piano lessons for quite sometimes (2 and a half years.. maybe) under Kawai Kuching Music School.. Well, people might say that I'm too old (I'm going on 30 this year by the way) but it has been my dream to learn music. I've learned piano when I was in primary school from my music teacher, but then when I went to secondary school, I had to give up my lesson since I'm in boarding school.. Since it's been a long long time ago, my fingers got so stiff that I had to have my lesson all over again! But I'm having a good time... 

The best part was, I got a part to sing with a choir on KKMS Concert, last 22 Mac 2014. Just imagine, my first concert! I invited my husband (of course), and my parents. It's our first instruments music concert (did I say it right?) There were lots of performance that night. Some played solo piano, duet and also triple piano pieces. The violin students were also great! There was a guitar performance as well. And the vocal students was awesome! What impress me the most was a solo pianist, playing the piano piece and sing a long with it.. and she was only 9 or 10 years old!

It's fun.. All of us are students so of course there are some mistakes here and there.. But we all have a great time.. It's kinda sad bcoz I can't bring along my kids. I had to live them behind with my mother-in-law. The concert end around 11 p.m. so it's too far behind their bed time. 

Next time, I'll be back with more interesting topics to write. Iit's been a long time since I wrote anything in English... so beg my pardon ::wink wink:: I want to write in Sarawak Malay Language but some of my friends might not know the language much.. If I wrote in Semenanjung Malay Language, I might end up using Bahasa Malaysia.. SO English it is... Senang cerita..

That's all... bubye.. 

....(after I read this.. I realised that my English.. oh so poor.. The last time I wrote in English.. 4 to 5 years back?!!! ALASAN   )..

Did I ever tell you that one thing that I want to buy is the Overedge Machine (Mesin Jahit Sisi)? Well, I FINALLY bought it last Sunday!

It's Singer Overedge Machine Model 14N655 with 4 treads! At first I just want to buy secondhand goods, and the price is RM 900. But after some discussion with my husband, I finally decided to buy this model. It is RM 1415 and I'M SOOOO HAPPY (over the moon already)!

So, I will list down every project that I want to do this year and just do it!

Thanks to my husband for the understand. I really love to sew and I really want to be a PRO (if can laaa).

2013.. How it will be...

Hi everyone.. It's 2013 already and I got 2 kids (a boy and a girl)! It really is a bless for me to have a very loving husband for 3 years (when I still think that we only got married recently) and with additional of a baby boy this year - of course my 2 years old little girl is included too!

Last year is great. Finally after 2 years of long distances marriage with my beloved husband, my application of transferring school had been approved and now I'm here in Kuching with my family - period! I started working in SK Matang Jaya since January 2013 and my days' were so hecticed since its a big school with 1000+ pupils compared to my old school, only got 50+ pupils.

I also got pregnant around Feb-Mar and had been safely delivered a baby boy name Badri (and his big sister name is Adela, started with an A) on 15 Oct. Since my husband and I am determined to name our children according with alphabets sequence of A-B-C, so it'll be Adela and Badri. So for my future child I might (but still searching) name him/her a name started with C. So that will be another story - of course.

Last October, we also managed to move out from my parents-in-law's house and moved in to our brand new house (have been waiting from 2011 for the contractor to finish building it)! It's quite far from my school but it's okey. As long as we lived in our own house.

Due tak lama lagi

Salam sehtera kepada semua kengkawan kat luar sane... Lama dah saya tak blogging nih...  Yelah... semenjak jadi cikgu nie  tak de masa sgt nak buat keje lain.. nak ber facebook pun sekadar nk tgk status jer... Ape lagi kalo nk post blog.. mcm berkurun jer dh tak post...

Nway... back to our topic.. tak lama lagi saya dh nk due anak yang ke2.. kalo ekotkan 12 oktober nie due.. start maternity leave mintak awal sikit.. 1 Oktober nie.. bukan ape, tak nak ambik risiko terberanak kat sekolah.. kalo saya sorang yg panik xper gak.. kalo terpecah air ketuban kat dalam kelas, kesian pulak kat budak2.. lagipun dh penat gak naik turun tangga sampai 3 tingkat tiap hati paling2 pun dua kali.. penat betul.. mcm tak larat nak angkat kaki dh time masuk kelas.. masuk tu pun xboleh nak duduk jer mengajar... nnt ada jugak yg main kat belakang.. kene gak jln2 dlm kelas especially time nak buat keje dlm kelas...

Tu laa dugaan jadi ibu nie.. tp tak pe nak carik rezeki yang halal kene wat betul2 Tak leh laa nsk belenggang kangkung jer pergi kelas kan... 

Nie pon dh pukul 5.45 pagi... tadi tgh wat sedikit keje sekolah sbb semalam tertido awal sebab teman si dela tido.. Nak mandi dulu n siap2 apa yang patut... Doakan saya selamat melahirkan anak saya yang kedua nie k... Insyallah baby boy so, tunggu jer update dari saya nnt...

Susahnya nak jadi seorang guru...

Sedar sik sedar dah masuk bulan ke 7 saya berpindah ke sekolah baru. Dulu di sekolah lamak, boleh kata relek juak lah walaupun kerja banyak. Tapi sikda stress or tension jak-jak. Tapi lain cerita di sekolah baru. Yalahkan nama dah sekolah pun besar dan ramai murid, berbanding dengan sekolah pendalaman yang sik sampe pun 60 orang murid, jurang perbezaan beban kerja sangat berbeza.

Masa mengajar sama jak, 30 (plus/minus) periods. Tapi yalah tek, satu kelas dah 35 orang. Sekali bagi homework banyak bena nak disemak. Dan banyak benalah kesalahan-kesalahan yang memeningkan kepala si cikgu tok. Ish... Kadang-kadang bengang juak nangga sidak molah kerja cincai (sebarang) jak.. Ada yang sik siap pun hantar buku. Ada yang ada jawapan tapi sikda cara kerja (kompom meniru dari kawan sebab takut kenak marah cikgu sebab sik siap).

Ya baruk bab P&P (dalam kelas). Bila dah masuk bab pentafsiran (silibus baru dah ditukar dari KBSR kepada KSSR), lagik laa pening. Everyday kenak siap sedia soklan baru, semak dan nilai.. Pasya key-in gik dalam sistem on-line. Mun biak sikit tek xlah apa juak. Kalau sik disebabkan kerja, memang malas nak buat. Tapi apakan daya, yalah kerja seorang cikgu.

Belum lagik part nak layan kerenah budak2 darjah 1 terutamanya. Sapa yang belum berkahwin atau yang belum ada nak boleh laa cuba jadi cikgu. Sik payah nunggu anak kita besar, di sekolah kita dah pun secara sik rasminya jadi 'ibu' dan 'bapa' budak2 tok. Kalau kawan kacau, agak cikgu - komplen. Kawan sik embak duit untuk beli makanan, agak cikgu - komplen. Kawan madah sik mok geng (berkawan) agik, agak cikgu - komplen. Sakit perut - komplen. Demam - komplen, Muntah - komplen. Berak dalam kelas pun - komplen. Mun diekotkan memang adalah duak tiga orang murid yang memang kaki komplen. Nak di anok (dimarah) sik dapat. Yalahkan budak darjah1, manjak. Dengar jak lah. Yang paling saya sik paham, ada yang demam pun masih ke sekolah. Kenak laa mak bapak anta ke sekolah. Biarlah nya rehat nak. Tok ada yang sampe muntah di sekolah sebab demam pening. Bila ditanyak parents sidak, sikda orang yang jaga di rumah. Yalahkan, yalah masalahnya juak. Mun parents mala jak cuti menjaga anak sakit di rumah, kelak masalah juak di opis. Susah-susah, cikgu pun serba salah dibuatnya.

Bila dikenang balit, rami orang dolok madah jadi cikgu senang. Tapi bila sendiri mengalaminya, susah sebenarnya nak jadi cikgu. Even anak kita sorang pun kita susah nak jaga, apatah lagi nak kawal berpuluh orang dalam satu kelas. Berbanding dengan kerja saya di kilang di opis dulu handle audit, kertas kerja, projek dan sebagainya, lagi senang berbanding nak berdepan dengan murid2 tahun 1,2 dan 3.

Tapi bak kata suami, buatlah kerja sebaik mungkin, susah atau senang. Biar rezeki yang diperolehi setiap hujung bulan berkat untuk diberi kepada anak-anak. Jadi saya pun dengan sedaya upaya untuk memperbaiki mutu kerja dan belajar untuk bersabar dalam setiap dugaan di sekolah. Lagipun kerja seorang guru merupakan salah satu kerja yang mulia. Mungkin saya banyak komplen, tapi ya hanyalah untuk release tension/stress jak. Banyakkan senyuman dan bersabar... Saya BOLEH!

What!? No pay-check!?

That's what happened last month on June.. Why? It's PPD Sri Aman's fault because they'd sent the last pay slip to a WRONG SCHOOL last April, and didn't bother to call and ask me or anyone at my school whether the slip arrive safely or not. So last June, I have no GAJI and I'm VERY ANGRY (plus my husband as well) and frustrated and helpless and many more (which I dunno how to say it in words?!)

I have to go back and forth to PPD Padawan to settle my GAJI or I may not get it this July too.. or perhaps even this August.. I dunno... Image.... RAYA is only around the corner! Arggg!!!

This month (July) hubby and I supposed to pay our cars insurans. VIVA - RM 3++, SAGA RM 8++.. and then suddenly no GAJI! What to do? Betol-betol menyusahkan orang jer... Not just that, I'm suppose to pick up our new ordered sofa (which cost about RM 2300) before Raya..

Now, after 2 weeks I finally manage to cool down a bit.. Mmm... Might as well said that I tried to think POSITIVE on this matter. Thanks to my hubby, who got his tunggakan last month, help me lots... At least I got to pay my car, my astro, Adela's insurance and my ASB Loan..

Sabar jer laaa Lizz.... Mungkin ada hikmah disebalik kejadian kali ini.... Amin... That's all from me.....

Hello blogger.. It's been a while since my last blog post.. hoho... Life so hectic until I kinda lost interest in blogging.. but then again here I am despite all that...

Latest about my life - I'm pregnant! No surprise there since I only get pregnant once before... Of course I want to add more people in my family! Who doesn't?

So here I am about 5+ months in pregnancy.. My scan shows that the baby might be a boy.. and I do really hope it's true since my first one is a girl. She's 1and a half year already.. With curly hair and big eyes!

And the latest about my house in progress.. Still in progress, and big probability will finish the construction this month! The last we check (me and my hubby of course) all the door that been attached to their panels, the tiles were done, the wiring is also done, except for the toilet bow and few other things here and there... I don't really mind when it'll be done, as long as it's done within this year.. that's good enough for me...

Dah berminggu tak berblogging... Asyik-asyik bukak new post, pastu delete...

Tak tau nak tulis apa.. sebab cuti terlalu panjang dan membosankan.

Tak sabar rasanya nak start sekolah and teach those pupils!

Sometimes mati kutu jugak nak duduk rumah and kemas, masak dan sebagainya..

Obviously saya nie tak gemar memasak.. Tp boleh laa kalo nak tengok resepi dan buat.

Cuma boring tu yang tak tahan.. Nak menjahit pun tak dapat (my hobby) sebab

mak pinjam nak jahit kain lapik meja untuk kedai makan kami.

Tinggal 1 minggu jer lagi, so bertahan! Saya nak start nak buat sedikit ABM dan sediakan buku-buku untuk mengajar.. Tak sabar nak masuk sekolah baru!

MOVING IN ~ MOVING OUT

It's been 2 years and finally I'm moving out!

Last 2 weeks I got POSITIVE reply for my application of transfer.

I'm officially going to move back to KUCHING!

I'm sad to leave my old school, but I am just too happy not to GLEE about my transfer! How can I help myself?! Won't you be doing the same?

Alhamdulilah, my new school is quite close to my parents house - round 15 minutes (if not traffic hours). SK Matang Jaya, do you know that school?

My husband and I are planning to stay at my parents house for the time being until the construction of our house at Green Acres finish (probably will have to wait for a year or so). If possible (after a few months), we MIGHT rent a house somewhere at Matang.

Just wait and see where it leads on...

Hari Raya Haji

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha!

Tahun nie, Alhamdulillah saya sempat menyambut Hari Raya Haji bersama semua ahli keluarga saya dan suami yang tercinta.

Dapat jugak makan kari yang Mammy masak. Sedap betul.. Yelah lama dah tak dapat makan masakan Mammy. Hehehe..... Asyik makan masakan kakak jer. Saya tak masak pun untuk Hari Raya nie sebab tak tau nak masak apa. To tell you the truth, saya nie belum pandai (suami tak suka kalau saya cakap tak pandai) lagi masak resepi2 yang berat macam rendang dan sebagainya. Lagi pun kalau nak menyebuk kat dapur tu, takut pulak tak jadi laa lauk2 yang kakak2 saya buat. So tolong potong bahan2 jer (sedey sebab tu jer tugas yang saya buat).

Walau bagaimanapun saya berazam kalau rumah yang kami beli siap next year (harap betul2 siap) saya nak masak gak laa untuk suami. Nak dapur sendiri gak baru best nak memasak (hhehehe memilih laa pulak)...

Maaflaa yer sebab tak ada gambar sebab memang tak ambik gambar pun.. Kamera tu dah tak boleh harap dah kalau nak ambik gambar.. Nak ambik gambar dalam handphone plak, leceh sangat...

Adela dah tdo, so time nak buat sedikit kerja rumah.. Adios!

VIP - Coming here?!

It's 9:28 pm and I'm still up (since it's still early and all), and just my lucky day coz my sweet, happy, energetic little girl has already sleeping! Yay! It's kinda hard to make her sleep THIS early anyway. Maybe it's b'coz she didn't get her little nap as usual (around 5-6pm).

I want to continue with my ABM in-making but then, I realized that it has been quite a while since I last updated my blog (not that anyone ever read it of course! - what a shame huhuu). Maybe I should make it a habit of mine to write anything here. It's just that I don't have that much time at home since I'm currently living only with my little girl. To those who didn't know, hubby is working quite far and only home at weekend ::sign::

Anyway, back to the topic. The not expecting PERSON? The story was that (I only learned about it this morning) a VIP is going to come to our school - this Friday!

I was like soooo dunno what to think (not that it's hard anyway - for a few seconds)! Our PK told us that she only knew about it last Saturday! Imagine! How are we going to prepare for the VIP's arrival this Friday with just 4 days left! And with our own school program packed to the very last day this semester!?

Just to think about all the preparation is just too much already. Not just that, the school holiday is only 3 weeks away! 3 WEEKS! Can you imagine just what can you do with just 3 weeks?! This unexpected visit is just not at the right time! Imagine, ME....

• marking the papers (5 subjects to ) - probably takes 3-4 days to do it!
• School report (panitia Pen.Muzik)
• LINUS report (due next week!)
• preparing pupils report books (I'm year1 class teacher)
• key-in data for SPPBS online (takes FOREVER since the server is so slow)
• key-in data for SAPS online (same as above!)

I can't even do this at home. It's kinda hard to make time for school work at home since I'm busy with house work too (and the water is so damn nuisance this 3 weeks!).

Minus this full week, that leave me with only 1 week left to make sure all my work is done before the holiday. The final week of course we'll be busy with Hari Anugerah Sekolah, so all must be done before that happen!

I wish..... nahh, just settle the job laaa....

My piano just got tuned today.

RM 230.00

Actually, if normal tuning, the cost is only RM 80.00.

But, the piano had not been tune for almost 15 year, so no wonder it cost much more than that.

And FIY, the piano is 30 years old (plus plus)... Hehee... Kinda old aiye!

Today, my hubby told me that Mr. Richard (a tuning guy who we got his number from the Piano Shop) called him mentioning that he wants to come by for the tuning.

I'm so excited to be sure. Hah! I can't wait to hear the sound of the piano playing inside my house!

Call me weird but I do loves piano to that extend. It's been ages since I literally BEGGED my dad to buy me a piano (and I managed to get my dad to buy me a keyboard instead - I got 4A's for UPSR and he promised me a Keyboard!

I don't know how much it would cost me for the tuning or service (if needed). So I put aside 1K aside for that. I hope it won't cost much. The tuning might take quite some times since the last tuning was on 1996!

I don't know much about piano but from what I've read from the net, each piano need to be tune twice a year. So, imagine if the piano haven't been tune for 15 years!

However, for you info the piano still in good condition. It just that he keys from the bass side was kinda off. There are few keys need to be fix (I think) because I have to 'knock' it hard to make THE sound.

I can't wait for the school holiday! 

Now, I just have to wait what Mr. Richard will say about my Knight Piano...

(the name itself is so 'fairytale' like.. hehehehe....)

One thing for sure.

I still don't  know how OLD is my piano.
